How has theatre impacted your life?
Theatre has helped me a lot with meeting new people and speaking of things I am passionate about. And it has led to other activities such as speech and debate, where I finished top three in the state, met a lot of new people, and learned a lot of new things.

What is one lesson you’ve learned from theatre?
I have learned that no role is more important than another. Everyone is equal. The show can’t function without you no matter how big your part is, so treat each cast member equally to show how important they are.

What has been your favorite theatre experience so far?
My favorite theatre experience has probably been our Thespian festival because it’s a great way to connect with people. We get to travel together on a bus and stay in a hotel. This really helps us bond with one another and get to know each other outside of plays. We also do group dinners, and it’s a really fun experience. You get to know people both from your school and outside your school.

Who is your theatre hero?
Lin-Manuel Miranda. I really enjoy his pieces. Hamilton is amazing.

What theatrical character or show best describes your life?
I would say my life is too unique to be described by a character, but the most fun character I’ve played was Pinocchio.
